Bávaro, Punta Cana – The 11th edition of the Punta Blanca Golf & Beach Club Invitational Tournament will be held from September 14 to 16, 2018, at the Punta Blanca golf course in the city of Bávaro. On this occasion, the tournament has been dedicated to Engineer José Zapata (VP of Human).
In previous editions, the tournament paid tribute to outstanding personalities linked to the world of golf, among which is Don Teodoro García Trabadelo (founder of Punta Blanca Golf & Beach Club), Don Homero Saviñón, Don Kalil Haché, Ing. Miguel Flaquer, Dr. Abel González (Cayo), Mr. Francisco Melo, Mr. Ernesto Izquierdo, Mr. Eusebio Nuñez Malena and Baseball MVP George Bell.
The tournament will be played under the modality Medal Play (Stroke Play) individual, with 4 categories for gentlemen: category A with a handicap of 0-9, category B, with a handicap of 10-17, the C with a handicap of 18-24 , the Senior with handicap from 0 to 24, and a category for ladies.
In men, the best gross score of each category and the first three net positions will be awarded. In the ladies, the first three net places will be awarded.
